Day 1 - Which college was your number one choice? Are you going to that school? If not, how did you handle the rejection? If so, is it everything you always thought it would be?
Since my mom and my cousins studied in the University of the Philippines, I told myself that I should be able to get into this prestigious university too. Getting into this university wasn't easy. Weeks after I took the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT), I cried because I was too scared and nervous that I may not be able to pass the test. I also took an admission test in another university. I was quite confident that I'd pass that test but I really had no plan of going to that university if ever I passed the exam, because all I really wanted was to go to UP. All my thoughts of flunking in UPCAT suddenly faded away when God gave me a sign. And yes, I'm a proud Iskolar ng Bayan studying BS Computer Science in University of the Philippines now. XD
